Australian Open 2025: Goran Ivanisevic to cease teaching Elena Rybakina after Melbourne trials

Former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic says he’ll cease teaching world primary Elena Rybakina after the Australian Open.

The 2 started working collectively in mid-December as a trial run.

Rybakina, a former Melbourne Park finalist, misplaced 6-3 1-6 6-3 to Madison Keys within the fourth spherical on Monday.

On Tuesday, Ivanisevic posted on Instagram that he wouldn’t proceed with Rybakina, writing: “After our trial interval ended with the Australian Open, I want Elena and her crew the most effective of luck transferring ahead.”

Ivanisevic has coached 24-year-old Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in 12 of his main matches.

Rybakina introduced in early January that she wished to carry her former coach Stefano Vukov again to the crew – regardless of Vukov being briefly banned by the WTA.
