Nick Kyrgios will return to a different regular setting when the Australian Open ends later this month.

The 29-year-old has been named in Australia’s Davis Cup squad for the qualifiers in Stockholm, Sweden, on January 31 and February 1.

Alex de Minaur of the world will lead the Australian group, Jordan Thompson and Thanasi Kokkinakis full the Australian group.

It will likely be Kyrgios’ first look at a world group event since November 2019, when he defeated Belgium’s Steve Darcis and Chile’s Alejandro Gonzalez within the November last.
