Have you ever heard of Individuals in Paris? What about Individuals in Auckland? Six of them, really.
The qualifiers for this 12 months’s ASB Basic are 75 p.c stars and stripes after Crew USA claimed the day’s medal in Auckland final evening.

Friday’s remaining eight will function two All-American clashes, with Bernarda Pera dealing with Robin Montgomerywhereas Locations to remain in Alycia Parks will take Katie Volynets. As well as, it’s top-seeded Madison Keys will play with Denmark and DC native Clara Tauson Haily Baptiste she is going to face Naomi Osaka within the seventh seed.
The 23-year-old Baptiste saved a match level to beat Nice Britain’s Jodie Burrage, 5-7, 7-5, 7-6(6), to succeed in her first WTA quarterfinals. Montgomery, 20, defeated Nao Hibino, 6-2, 6-2. Parks reached her first hard-court quarterfinal with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Greet Minnen, whereas Keys wanted simply 46 minutes to beat Romania’s Jaqueline Cristian, 6-1, 6-2 .
All 4 quarterfinals will happen on Friday evening in Auckland (Thursday evening within the US).
