Canada’s Andreescu reaches the Boulter quarterfinals on the Pan Pacific Open

Canada’s Bianca Andreescu was knocked out of the Toray Pan Pacific Open quarterfinals on Friday after dropping a 6-2, 6-1 determination to Britain’s Katie Boulter.

Andreescu, from Mississauga, Ont., gained solely 45 % of the factors in his first match, which lasted simply 62 minutes. Boulter gained 87 % of the primary factors.

Leylah Fernandez of Laval, Que., was scheduled to play high seed Qinwen Zheng of China on Friday.

In ladies’s doubles, the top-seeded pair of Gabriela Dabrowski of Ottawa and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand gained 6-1, 7-6 (4) within the quarterfinals over Peangtarn Plipuech of Thailand and Chia Yi Tsao of Taiwan.
