Queen’s Membership: Laura Robson appointed event director for brand spanking new ladies’s occasion
Former British No. 1 participant Laura Robson has been appointed event director of a brand new ladies’s occasion at The Queen’s Membership in London.
The WTA 500 occasion, which begins on 9 June 2025, would be the first ladies’s tour-level occasion in London for greater than 50 years.
Robson has been event director on the Nottingham Open for the previous two years, having formally retired from taking part in in 2022.
The 30-year-old, who gained silver on the Olympic doubles in London in 2012, stated she was “delighted to tackle this function”.
